Striped Bass Fishing
Our striper trips take place on the lower American River in Sacramento by drift boat. The American River produces several stripers every year over 40 pounds. It is not uncommon to see these giant fish and be able to cast to them. You have the opportunity for a fish of a lifetime, although getting these extremely large fish to eat a fly can be a real challenge.The majority of the fish we catch go from school sized to 10-12 pounds.
We specialize in fly fishing but conventional gear can also be used. You will be provided with top notch Sage fly rods and Sage, Galvan and Ross reels, as well as leaders, tippet and flies. Full day trips last 8 hours and half day trips are 4 hours. Lunch and drinks are provided with all full day trips. Prices are for 1-2 people; a third person is an additional $100.
Fishing License required. Prices do not include license or guide gratuities.
